Chamber Members Beat the Heat to Network at Affair in the Square

The Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce had another successful Business After Hours Thursday, July 23rd. "Affair in the Square" was hosted by the Forest Square Corporation and sponsored by VC Design and Build and John Stewart Walker, Karen Hall Realtor. 

Many chamber members took advantage of this networking opportunity in spite of the strong heat meet with fellow Chamber members and members of the community, but were able to cool down with drinks provided by Budweiser. The evening included a fun twist with a scavenger hunt that allowed the members to network with the owners of many of the retail stores and restaurants that are located in the Forest Square Shopping center. Attendees of the event also enjoyed a ''Taste of Forest'' from food provided by Taco Bell/ Pizza Hut, Subway, Make-and-Take Gourmet, and the Kroger Deli.
