The Government Affairs Committee of the Bedford Area Chamber held its annual Legislative Wrap-Up Breakfast on Thursday, June 10 at the Bedford Area Welcome Center. 

Representative Lacey Putney provided an overview of the 2010 Legislative Session to a group of Chamber members and local elected officials.  He highlighted the General Assembly's work on the $4.2 billion shortfall in revenue, funding for education at the local level and the need for additional funds for transportation.  His presentation was followed by a question and answer session.  The event was sponsored by Ntelos.
