Masonry Mart Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting! Ribbon Courtesy of GloLyn Flowers in Bedford! ![]() On Friday, September 23rd, the Chamber was pleased to conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony for Masonry Mart at their new location at 1043 Pisgah Road in Goode. Masonry Mart has served Bedford County and surrounding areas since 1928 with a full line of lawn and garden, landscape/hardscape and masonry materials. The celebration continued with a grand opening on the following Saturday. Keith Jennings, General Manager, and Randy Akers, Office Manager, were both enthusiastic about their successful Open House. "The day started out great and ended with a few sprinkles but, overall, we were very pleased at the turnout" said Jennings. "We're really excited at this new location and the better visibility Masonry Mart has here." Masonry Mart was proudly displaying their blue ribbon won for "Best in Show Small Business" exhibiting at the Bedford Area Chamber Expo on the previous Thursday. Masonry Mart is open Monday-Friday, 7:30 - 4:30 and on Saturday, 8:00 AM - Noon through October. Stop by and take advantage of their Grand Opening sales. Ambassador Bill Moss, Xango Distributor, was in charge of the ceremony, welcoming Masonry Mart, introducing fellow Ambassador Phil Waugh (Max International) and highlighting a few of the Chamber benefits available to our members.
