Cutting the Ribbon at Waller's Open House

It's definitely SUMMER at the lake!  And Waller's Waterfront is ready to plunge into the mainstream of vacationers coming to enjoy beautiful Smith Mountain Lake in Bedford County.  The Chamber welcomed our new member with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 30th, after which the attendees enjoyed a July 4th-style feast of fried chicken, potato salad, slaw, and hot dogs, all deliciously prepared in Waller's commercial kitchen.  Waller's Waterfront is located at 1617 Crystal Shores Drive, midpoint of the lake, and is one of the few restaurants actually located on the water. It's easy access by land or by water and you don't need to be concerned about getting your boat in and out of the cove. Waller's is prepared to handle the lake's largest crafts.

Waller's Waterfront is open seven days a week during the summer season - lunch and dinner - with a Sunday buffet.  And the prices are right!

Venture on out to the lake and "Holler at Waller" and his high energy staff in a fun Caribbean atmosphere enhanced by their one-of-a-kind bartenders.  And before you go, visit Waller's web site at www.holleratwaller.com to review the menu and live entertainment, or call them at  297-0055.  This is a happy place!

In the absence of Chamber President Susan Martin, Staff Members Kathy Graham,Janet Walton, and Barbara Bostic represented the Chamber.

Thanks to Waller's for a welcome escape to the beautiful shores of Smith Mountain Lake!  We'll be back!
