The Changing of the Guard at Piedmont Eye Center

On Friday, October 1st, the Chamber was pleased to perform a ribbon cutting ceremony during an Open House at Piedmont Eye Center to welcome Dr. Gene Moss to Bedford.  Dr. Woodroof, who practiced his profession for more than 30 years here in Bedford at 412 North Bridge Street, was also in attendance to lend his support to Dr. Moss. 

At the invitation of Dr. Moss and his staff (which he refers to as "the glue"), many of their patients turned out to help celebrate the occasion.  Everyone had an opportunity to welcome their new ophthalmologist and to speak to Dr. Woodroof.  Southern style refreshments were also enjoyed. 

In addition to the Eye Center's patients, several Chamber members also turned out to meet Dr. Moss and welcome him to Bedford.  Included among those were Chamber President Susan Martin, Phil Waugh, Max International; Doug Harrington, Premier Limousine Service; Susan Myers, ServPro; Carol Thompson, Thompson Merchant Systems; Jan Moss, Xango.
