We offer lots of programming throughout the year. This includes educational events, professional development, networking, Chamber-specific information sessions, service opportunities, commemorative events, and more!
One of the greatest reasons to join our membership is to make new connections and find community amongst one's peers. Our networking events serve as opportunities for members to meet other professionals, talk about what they do, and exchange ideas and leads. The morning version (2nd Tuesday, 8-9AM) is called an Align Before Nine, and the evening version (4th Thursday, 5-6PM) is called a Live at Five. Members host these events at their location and provide refreshments and a giveaway prize, while BACC facilitates and markets the event. All networking events are free and open to the public, no RSVP necessary.
Ribbon cuttings are a great way to celebrate a milestone for your organization, whether it be for a grand opening, anniversary of operation, completion of a project, and more! Ribbon cuttings introduce and familiarize both Chamber and community members to your organization, and they also enable you commemorate this moment and thank those who help made this new step possible. BACC helps you promote your big news and we bring the big scissors and big ribbon, as well the golden shovel for groundbreaking ceremonies!
The actual ribbon cutting ceremony is usually brief (about 15-20 minutes) and should be planned ahead of time. Typically, people will mingle, then a Chamber representative will gather the attendees, thank them and introduce the speaker(s) from the business, the business representatives will speak, and we will cut the ribbon.
