Not Just Buildings
Not Just Buildings is a weekly podcast hosted by the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce and produced by Media Squatch. Our goal is to tell the stories of businesses, organizations, and institutions in the area of Bedford, VA, which we do by talking to the real local people working behind the scenes.
Newly rebranded in 2026, the name "Not Just Buildings" is inspired by something long-time Board member, Bill Moss, likes to say: that businesses aren't just buildings, they're people. (Thank you, Bill, for your years of service to our Chamber and business community. We appreciate you more than you know).
We record new episodes every Wednesday at 9AM at Media Squatch (1000 Grove St, Bedford, VA). Episodes are available on Media Squatch+, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and anywhere else you can find podcasts.
Chamber members are able to appear on Not Just Buildings once per calendar year. Interviews are scheduled by quarter. Click the button below to see available dates.

Every Thursday at 9:00AM, Kayla or Foster go live on TheMIKEShow, a radio show hosted by Chamber partner Mike McKendree on the internet streaming radio station, Radio434. Mike interviews not only the Chamber but also members who go live with us on the show!
This is a great way to highlight your business or organization, as TheMIKEShow has thousands of monthly listeners and you'll also get to like, share, and keep the interview once it is posted to Facebook. Better yet: we record remotely, so you don't even need to leave your desk to promote what you do!
